高粱：学名Sorghum bicolor 一年生草本，禾本科，高粱属。别称蜀黍、菽粟、秫秫、芦粟等。是一种粮食作物和饲料作物。高粱是世界4大谷类作物之一。收获面积和总产仅次于小麦、水稻、玉米而居第四位。主要分布在亚洲、非洲和美洲。一般多种植在年降雨量500mm以下的地区。高粱是中国主要农作物之一。主要分布在东北、华北地区。1985年全国平均公顷产量为3150kg。传统食法：磨粉蒸馍或打米煮饭、制糖或酿酒饮用。
